bareMinerals Bare Pro foundation

I received this foundation complimentary for testing purposes... luckily. When I found out I was receiving this item to test out I was pretty thrilled, and decided to look more into it and read other reviews on the product. Most of the reviews that I came across were positive, and most people said that this foundation was one of the best that they have used in a long time. Needless to say, I was pretty hyped to trying to product for free at this point. When I finally received it in the mail I immediately ran inside to test it out. I did my normal face prep; I didn't change anything up at all. When I applied the foundation with my morphe brush it caused the product to move around too much, and made the make up look like I had splotches all over my face. I was overly disappointed because I have the highest expectation based on all the reviews I had previously read. So I kept trying to use the product a few more times, and I always switched up the brushes. It wasn't until I picked up a beauty blender that I did a 180 and completely changed my mind. Using the beauty blender made the foundation go on flawlessly to the point that it didn't look or feel like I was wearing foundation at all while still covering up all my freckles on my face. I had a nice dewy finish to my skin if I didn't set it with powder, and I was totally okay with that. I would recommend this product, but I would suggest using a beauty blender over any other type of brush.
